The Serenity Community Care Fund was created to help members of our community access professional hair care during times of temporary hardship. Through the generosity of clients who choose to pay it forward, the fund provides financial assistance for restorative and maintenance hair services.

Every situation is unique, but assistance may be considered for circumstances such as:
Financial hardship

Grief or major life transitions
Other unexpected circumstances

The Community Care Fund may assist with eligible Serenity Locs & Curls services, including Crown Recovery, loc maintenance, curl care, protective styling, and other professional hair care services.

No. Funding is limited and assistance is awarded based on available funds, individual circumstances, and the goals of the Community Care Fund.

Each request is reviewed individually. Assistance may cover a portion of a service or, in some cases, the full cost.

Yes. Every Community Care Request is reviewed privately, and your personal information will remain confidential.

Yes. If you experience another period of temporary hardship in the future, you are welcome to submit a new Community Care Request. Previous assistance does not guarantee future funding, and each request is reviewed individually.

Yes. Friends, family members, or community organizations are welcome to refer someone who may benefit from the Community Care Fund. The individual will still need to complete a Community Care Request before assistance can be considered.

The Serenity Community Care Fund is a community assistance program operated by Serenity Locs & Curls. Contributions directly support eligible guests receiving professional hair care services and are not tax-deductible charitable donations. (for now )

No. All contributions are combined into the Serenity Community Care Fund and awarded based on individual need and available funding. This allows us to support our community fairly and where assistance is needed most.
