Going to a new salon may be intimidating & trusting a new stylist can be hard. Even though we are not inside a traditional salon environment, we have created a studio to be a relaxing, judgment free experience customized just for you. Here’s some additional information to help make your first visit as seamless and comfortable as possible.

We are conveniently located in Downtown LA at 877 Francisco St., inside the vibrant Salons By JC. When you arrive, you can easily park in the Metropolis parking structure.

Don’t worry about the cost – we offer validation for just $6, which allows you to park for up to 5 hours.

Plus, if you are a member, you can enjoy free parking.

If the door is locked 

If your appointment is any time Sunday or Monday the door will be locked. If your appointment is any day before 9:30am or after 6pm the door will be locked.

Please send a text message (424) 490‑6497 to let us know you have arrived.  Your stylist will buzz you in.

Deposit & Cancellation Policy Summary

40–50% deposit for online bookings (applied to service).

  1. No deposit for Members, package holders, or in-salon rebooking.

  2. 48 hrs’ notice required to cancel/reschedule without losing deposit.

  3. Late cancels, no-shows, or 15+ min late arrivals → 30–50% fee or forfeited deposit.

  4. Same-day waitlist appointments require a card on file; no-shows → 50% fee.

  • For All Appointments:

    • If you have twists or braids, please take them down before your appointment.

    • Don’t worry about shampooing—we’ve got you covered.

    • Curl clients typically visit bi‑weekly or monthly.

    • Loc clients usually receive a re‑tie or re‑twist every 2–3 months, with a loc wash session in between.

    • Before you leave, you’ll be invited to join the Healthy Hair Membership or become a Package Holder for ongoing convenience and care.

    If You’re Getting a H.A.S.A:

    • Your first session may be the longest if you’re combining a H.A.S.A with a style—please be prepared for extended time.

    • Every new client receives a customized routine tailored to their Healthy Hair Goals.

    • Please come free of hard Gels, major tangles so that your stylist is able to access your scalp for the analysis.

We accept all major credit cards, along with convenient payment options such as Apple Pay and Google Pay, as well as traditional cash. However, please note that payments via Venmo or Cash App are not permitted.

From coffee and tea to a sparkling champagne and apple cider, we’ll make sure you’re refreshed while you’re in our care. Our new multi-chair suite means you may share the space with another guest, but you’ll still enjoy the cozy, boho-enchanted vibe and attentive service.

For extra comfort, headphones are available if you’d like to watch something on the iPad, and earplugs can be provided if you prefer a quieter experience. Our focus is always on your hair health, with every session designed to give you complete care. You’ll leave feeling cared for, confident, and ready to show off your crown. #serenityknockout
