Loc Release Journey
The Loc Release Journey is designed for guests who are ready to take down their locs while preserving as much natural hair as possible. Because every loc journey is different, all Loc Release services begin with an in-person consultation so we can assess your hair, discuss your goals, and recommend the best service plan for your release process.
Gently transition out of your locs with care, patience, and a plan.
Is Loc Release Right for You?
This service may be a good fit if:
You are ready to remove your locs without cutting them off.
You want to preserve as much loose natural hair as possible.
Your locs are baby locs, mature traditional locs, or higher-count locs.
You understand that loc release is a slow, detailed, time-based service.
You are open to multiple sessions if needed.
You want support with aftercare once your locs are released.
Loc Release may not be suitable for every guest. During your consultation, we will assess the condition of your hair and scalp and discuss whether this service is the best option for your goals.

If your Loc Release is completed before all package blocks are used, any remaining unused full service blocks may be applied toward approved post-release care within 30 days.
Partial time remaining within a used block does not roll over, transfer, or convert to credit.
For example, if a 5-hour block is scheduled and your release is completed in 4 hours, the remaining 1 hour from that block does not carry over. However, if another full unused 5-hour block remains in your package, that full block may be used for approved aftercare.
Unused time cannot be refunded, transferred, rolled over indefinitely, converted to cash value, or applied toward retail, unrelated services, memberships, or vault packages.

Your stylist will recommend the best aftercare option based on the condition of your hair once the release is complete.
