🌿 Serenity Locs and Curls Deposit/Retainer & Cancellation Policy

To protect both your time and ours, Serenity Locs and Curls requires deposits and enforces a clear cancellation policy. Please review carefully before booking.

💰 Deposits/Retainer

  • A non-refundable booking deposit is required to reserve most online appointments.

  • A 40% booking deposit is required for most online bookings.

  • A 50% booking deposit is required for longer or specialty services.

Your booking deposit reserves the appointment time, staffing, and preparation needed for your scheduled service. The deposit is applied toward your service total at checkout.

Booking deposits are non-refundable. However, with at least 48 hours’ notice, your deposit may be transferred one time to a rescheduled appointment.

If the rescheduled appointment is canceled, rescheduled again, missed, or changed with less than 48 hours’ notice, the original deposit may be forfeited or applied toward the applicable cancellation/no-show fee. A new deposit may be required to book another appointment.

Healthy Hair Members, package holders, and clients who rebook in-salon immediately after a completed service do not pay booking deposits.

⏰ Cancellations & Late Arrivals

  • 48 hours or more notice → No fee (deposit/ retainer transfers once if applicable).

  • 24–48 hours’ notice → 30% charge or forfeiture of deposit/retainer.

  • Same-day cancellations → 40% charge or forfeiture of deposit/ retainer.

  • No-shows → 50% charge or forfeiture of deposit/ retainer.

  • Late arrivals (15+ minutes) → Appointment may be canceled and subject to the same fees.

For in-salon pre-booked services (no deposit required), these 30–50% fees apply directly.

📅 Same-Day Appointments (Waitlist Call-Ins)

  • Same-day bookings are offered only from the waitlist if a spot becomes available.

  • A valid card on file is required to confirm the appointment.

  • No deposit is collected for same-day bookings.

  • If you confirm and do not show, the 50% no-show fee will be charged.

🔒 Payment Terms

  • Your card is stored securely through Boulevard and charged automatically for any applicable fees.

  • If a payment fails, you will be required to pay in full upfront for all future appointments.

  • No refunds. Adjustment requests must be made within 3 days of your appointment.
