Hi, I'm Gisele! My hair journey began after I did the big chop in 2009 and started embracing my coily texture. What once felt like a chore turned into a deep love for natural hair and its versatility. Since 2010, I’ve been nurturing crowns, and in 2013 I became a licensed cosmetologist after graduating from Marinello Schools of Beauty.

I’m passionate about styles that make clients feel uplifted—especially those transitioning from relaxed to natural hair. Twist styles and loc maintenance are my favorite services to provide, and I’m currently expanding my skills with Curly Cuts and Brow Waxing.

Being a part of Serenity Locs & Curls means the world to me. The peaceful, spa-like experience we offer is unlike any other. To me, crown care starts at the scalp—a clean base is key to healthy hair growth—and I always prioritize the integrity of every strand.

Outside the salon, I’m a fan of concerts, reading fanfiction, exploring new restaurants, and learning the latest in the beauty world. My bubbly and empathetic energy helps create a safe and uplifting space for every guest. I’m inspired by my goals and grounded by my mom, and I can’t wait to help you on your journey.

    Cleanse, blow dry, and silk press for natural hair. A silk press is a heat-straightening method that leaves your hair smooth, soft, and shiny without chemicals.

  • Two Strand Twist-$130

    Shampoo, condition, and neatly style your hair into two-strand twists—a protective style where two sections of hair are wrapped around each other for definition and versatility.

  • Flat Twist-$130

    Cleanse, condition, and style your natural hair (no extensions) into neat flat twists—a protective style where two strands of hair are twisted close to the scalp, similar to cornrows but with a softer, rope-like look.

  • Braids-$75

    Cleanse, condition, and braid your natural hair (no extensions) into 2–10 neat, straight-back cornrows—a classic protective style where the hair is braided close to the scalp.

  • Single Plaits-$130

    Shampoo, condition, and part your hair into neat individual braids (no extensions). Each plait is a single braid that gives a low-maintenance, protective style.
